Maylands Street Festival 2010
Hetty was innvited to attend the Maylands Street Festival on 7th November 2010, it was a novelty with great success. There was such a great interest for knowledge about the Holocaust during WWII and many books were sold all signed by Hetty.
Pinjarra Library 2010
Our visit to Pinjarra Library on the 26th May 2010 was bejoint expectation. In the morning Hetty spoke to the secondary students of the local school who were in the process of studying WWII. The new generation must be informed to prevent it from happening again
After lunch the library was full with the people of Pinjarra. Their interest was heartwarming and long after the session was over they stayed to ask Hetty lots of questions.
Lit Festival at All Saints College 2009
Hetty was invited to the Lit Fest 2009 to give some short lectures to the students and to participate as a panel member on the council for human rights at All Saints College this March 25th - 27th. Hetty kept her young audience spell bound and after her condensed discussion of the contents of her book, there was not a dry eye inthe place, when she had finished.
Many spontaneous questions were forth coming and Hetty answered them all with great charm. Her love of childrenshone through and great respect and affection was shown for Hetty when her book sold out at the festival. Many gathered around for her book signing where Hetty was more than happy to meet her new young fans.
